Ship to Ship

 

I made this layout for the Scrappy Friends Challenges.    I used the sketch from "ROCHELLE SPEARS" and the Tic-Tac-Toe challenge at "SCRAP WITH STACY"

I used the middle column Puffy Stickers, Florals and White Paper Base. 

Alaska

 I made this layout with the challenge at "LASTING MEMORIES"  in mind.   Challenge #814.

 LM #814  - On the 1's. Use the following on your layout:

Alaska Cruise

 

Super simple layout to make but I love how it turned out    We went on our 2nd Alaskan cruise the end of June.   We love cruising  but Alaska is a favorite destination.   I would love to go again but do a combo land and cruise trip and see more of this beautiful state.   When I saw the latest challenge at "LASTING MEMORIES"  I knew where my/our favorite place was so I made this layout.    I had bought some special themed Alaska scrapbook paper and this was one I hadn't used yet.    I didn't want to just add a regular 4x6 photo to it.   I looked through the photos we had taken on board ship and this one that was just against a white background was just what i needed.  I printed it out 8x10 size and then fussy cut around just us and that is all I added to the layout, no journaling and no embellishments, just let the picture and background paper tell the story.

August Color

 

I used the Sunday scrap lift at Paper Issues for this layout and then all my embellishments are wood veneer and that is a favorite of mine so this works perfectly for the challenge at "LASTING MEMORIES' Challenged #812.

Having a Good Time

 I made this double page layout first thing this morning using everything from my favorite brand for the "LASTING MEMORIES" Challenge #811,  Favorite Things: Brands.   My favorite brand is Echo Park. the two patterned paper and the two house embellishments, one round sticker and one square chipboard piece all came from the Echo Park Farm House Summer Collection.      These pictures were of my daughter and family on their Spring Break vacation this March when they took a bucket list trip to New Zealand.

OUR TRAVELS

  I made this layout today using the tic-tac-toe challenge for August at  "SCRAP WITH STACY "

I used the bottom line across  Twine/Ribbon,  Black (everything is matted with black card stock) and Fussy Cut,  I fussy cut the top part of a cut-apart in a travel collection. it was a 4.x6 cut apart but I cut out just what I needed to use a journal box, then I taped on black card stock and fussy cut it again.

VACATION

 I'm going to be working on vacation pages this week and this will probably be the first page to start our Alaska cruise in June.     I used the sketch at "ROCHELLE SPEARS BLOG" 

I'm also going to be using this layout for the first August prompt posted today at "LASTING MEMORIES"   Challenge #810.    My favorite tool is a good border punch and I used this punch twice on this layout.
